Here it is ladies!!! If you've never attended, then make plans to join us this year. This all girls float trip is a blast and I promise you will want to make this an annual event for you and your girlfriends and relatives! This is a charity event to raise money for prostate cancer research and a cure. Again this year we will be raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago.

Find the link on here to JC Screenprinting and order your shirt there. The shirt is your entry fee so YOU MUST BUY ONE to join. The fee for the shirt is $25 plus shipping. All proceeds go to our charity. You can put your team name or whatever you want on the back on that site. There will be an extra charge for long team names. Info is on the site. This years theme is HAWAIIAN! Make your team name or your name from something to do with TROPICAL...a song, an name, a phrase, a band, etc..... decorate your boat and yourself....have fun with it! If you decide to go at the last minute and haven't ordered a shirt, you can still go but you will have to pay the $25 when you get to the Legion and we may or may not have extra shirts for you. Like last year, we are asking that everyone collects at least $50 in DONATIONS to be turned in the day of the float. Again this year we will be giving away a KAYAK! In order to get put in the drawing you must bring $50, or more, in donations per person (not group). A little incentive to collect more donations! How exciting is that!? We are making koozies for you to sell again this year to help you raise money. On the T-shirt link, you can buy them and sell them for whatever amount you want to help you get your $50+ donation. So you can buy 20 koozies, sell them for $5 and take your money back that you pay for them and still have $ to donate! Lets do this!!! There are also men's T-shirts available on the site if any men want one. We will meet at the Deer Creek Legion NO LATER THAN 10:00am and be on the river by noon. NO ONE FLOATS ON AN INFLATABLE RAFT OR TUBE. They all either popped or had to be pulled behind a canoe the first year. They also float alot slower and there is no way to paddle or control where you are going. Please don't ask!

**This is a FEMALE ONLY ONLY float----and YOU MUST BE 18 TO FLOAT WITH US...NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!
**If you are using your own canoe/kayak you must drop it off where we put in either the night before or before you come to the Legion that morning. This is the address where you drop your boats-18298 Zimmerman Rd Deer Creek 61733. There will be a sign where you need to pull in. PLEASE DO NOT PULL INTO THE DRIVEWAY AT THE HOUSE! There will be vehicles at the Legion to take you to the river and we will have rides back to the Legion when we get off of the river. **We will be getting off the river at the canoe access outside of Deer Creek by 6pm
**There will be guys at the canoe access to help those of us with our own canoes to get them back to the Legion, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
***If it is raining, we will still float. If there are severe storms in the area, we will postpone event to a later date.
*** If the river level is too high, we will postpone until it comes down or just have a party at the Legion.
***We will only float if the river is at a safe level

Enjoy a fun experience paddling the North Branch of the Kishwaukee River. 2-3 Hour paddling trip form Siems Memorial Park in Union, IL to Woodbine Launch in Marengo,IL . Natural sights and sounds for a tranquil experience. Paddle On Outfitters has kayaks to rent and also will provide a personal shuttle for your own personal kayak. All rentals are provided with paddles and life jackets. After the trip, enjoy lunch at the local Checkers II restaurant with the group. Meet new friends! Enjoy Paddling! Outfitters and Community Leaders of Riverside, Illinois have teamed up to bring a new idea to the area. We are hosting a small kayak trip, providing rentals through Paddle On!. With this activity, you will be introduced to the sport with a safety introduction and/or the chance to paddle with a certified instructor to guide you. All rentals include paddles and life jackets, sanitized and cleaned. We have 3 time slots to reserve for 8am,10:30am, 1pm and 3:30pm, Interested? Here is how it works.Parking:Unlimited parking can be accessed in the parking lot at 65 E. Burlington Riverside, Illinois 60546. We would like you to be early as possible for your reserved time(20 minutes is great). There, you can find our shuttle vehicles near the Swan Pond. We have seating up to 11 people at a time. The Trip:
Once your party is loaded up, we would then deliver you or your group to the nearby Scout cabin where your reserved kayaks will be waiting. All rentals will require our paperless waiver that must be filled out after purchasing your rentals. We have a safety introduction that will be announced to all paddlers before your trip begins. The trip is a short one but take the time to get used to paddling a kayak. the trip could last up to 1.5 hours with the swan pond being a play area. We would the kayaks back within 2 hours per trip. There we will shuttle everyone up to the David Carroll Memorial Park in Genoa. you essentially paddle to your vehicles. After the trip Paddle On will give you your winery pass.

WHAT IS THE TRIP?

EVERYONE MUST PARK IN THE DEAN AWE MEMORIAL PARK IN KINGSTON, IL AT THEIR DESIGNATED TIME INTERVAL EITHER THE 10AM OR 2PM TRIP TIMES. PADDLE ON AND THE DMS OUTDOOR CLUB WILL PROVIDE SHUTTLING OF ALL PADDLERS AND PERSONAL VESSELS TO THE KNUTE OLSON FOREST PRESERVE IN GENOA. THERE YOU WILL HAVE YOUR RESERVED KAYAKS AVAILABLE TO BEGIN YOUR TRIP.

Hello Paddlers! Welcome back! Paddle on Outfitters have teamed up with the great people at Environmental Defenders of McHenry County and Paddle the Kish in Marengo. Join us April 30th for a leisure paddle through the North Branch Kishwaukee River. Our voyage would begin by parking at 101 Burgess St in Belvidere, IL. . There we will shuttle you to the launch in Garden Prairie to begin your trip. Rentals will be ready at the County Line road launch. If you would like to bring your own kayak, Paddle On will have a shuttle service available for you. Tickets for rentals and shuttles will be available through our website at www.paddleonoufitters.com or our ticket tailor link here https://buytickets.at/paddleonoufitterscom/653663. All paddlers are required to fill out our paperless waiver after you have purchased a rental or shuttle ticket.

The trip could take up to 3 hours to complete. We will be keeping track of water levels throughout that week. We highly encourage to bring towels, plenty of water a light snack. All rentals will have pipe jackets provided along with paddles. Dry boxes will be available to rent through the ticket tailor link. All paddlers bringing there own kayak is highly encouraged to provide their own life jackets.

Age requirements: All ages are able to attend. We do however do not encourage newborns or very small infants to attend due to the potential danger of their well being.

Trained guides will be available if you are a beginner and/or would want to learn.

After the trip, Paddle On will provide a shuttle back to Siems Memorial Park.

Checkers is a local favorite in Union Illinois where all who attend are encouraged to visit after the trip for lunch and a refreshing drink.

Residents of Riverside, Illinois and surrounding areas! Enjoy a leisure activity and get in touch with the growing sport of Kayaking! Paddle On! Outfitters and Community Leaders of Riverside, Illinois have teamed up to bring a new idea to the area. We are hosting a small kayak trip, providing rentals through Paddle On!. With this activity, you will be introduced to the sport with a safety introduction and/or the chance to paddle with a certified instructor to guide you. All rentals include paddles and life jackets, sanitized and cleaned. We have 4 time slots to reserve for starting at 8AM, 2PM AND 4 PM. Interested? Here is how it works.
Parking:
Unlimited parking can be accessed in the parking lot at 65 E. Burlington Riverside, Illinois 60546. We would like you to be early as possible for your reserved time(20 minutes is great). There, you can find our shuttle vehicles near the Swan Pond. We have seating up to 11 people at a time.
The Trip:
Once your party is loaded up, we would then deliver you or your group to the nearby Scout cabin where your reserved kayaks will be waiting. You may choose through your reservation to have a guided trip. All rentals will require our paperless waiver that must be filled out after purchasing your rentals. We have a safety introduction that will be announced to all paddlers before your trip begins. The trip is a short one but take the time to get used to paddling a kayak. the trip could last up to 1.5 hours with the swan pond being a play area. We would the kayaks back within 2 hours per trip.
Reserving your Kayaks:
You can purchase your rentals through our FB page event. Our ticket tailor link will provide you with all the options. We have Single and Tandem (2 Seater) Sit On kayaks (more stable). We also have the traditional Sit In kayaks that vary from 10' to 12' in length.
What to bring:
With any outdoor sport we advise to bring bottles of water and UV protection. Hats and Light clothes is a great idea. Spare towels is also a great idea. We advise to keep keys, wallets and phones in your vehicle. We cannot hold on to those items while you kayak.
