Residents of Riverside, Illinois and surrounding areas! Enjoy a leisure activity and get in touch with the growing sport of Kayaking! Paddle On! Outfitters and Community Leaders of Riverside, Illinois have teamed up to bring a new idea to the area. We are hosting a small kayak trip, providing rentals through Paddle On!. With this activity, you will be introduced to the sport with a safety introduction and/or the chance to paddle with a certified instructor to guide you. All rentals include paddles and life jackets, sanitized and cleaned. We have 4 time slots to reserve for

Parking:
Unlimited parking can be accessed in the parking lot at 65 E. Burlington Riverside, Illinois 60546. We would like you to be early as possible for your reserved time(20 minutes is great). There, you can find our shuttle vehicles near the Swan Pond. We have seating up to 11 people at a time.
The Trip:
Once your party is loaded up, we would then deliver you or your group to the nearby Scout cabin where your reserved kayaks will be waiting. All rentals will require our paperless waiver that must be filled out after purchasing your rentals. We have a safety introduction that will be announced to all paddlers before your trip begins. The trip is a short one but take the time to get used to paddling a kayak. Paddle upstream from the scout cabin to the first bridge then turn around (downstream)(passing Scout Cabin) to end at Swan Pond the trip could last up to 1.5 hours with the swan pond being a play area. We would the kayaks back within 2 hours per trip. Reserving your Kayaks:

We have Single and Tandem (2 Seater) Sit On kayaks (more stable). We also have the traditional Sit In kayaks that vary from 10' to 12' in length.
What to bring:
With any outdoor sport we advise to bring bottles of water and UV protection. Hats and Light clothes is a great idea. Spare towels is also a great idea. We advise to keep keys, wallets and phones in your vehicle. We cannot hold on to those items while you kayak.
