Hello Paddlers! Welcome back! Paddle on Outfitters have teamed up with the great people at Environmental Defenders of McHenry County and Paddle the Kish in Marengo. Join us April 30th for a leisure paddle through the North Branch Kishwaukee River. Our voyage would begin by parking at 101 Burgess St in Belvidere, IL. . There we will shuttle you to the launch in Garden Prairie to begin your trip. Rentals will be ready at the County Line road launch. If you would like to bring your own kayak, Paddle On will have a shuttle service available for you. All paddlers are required to fill out our paperless waiver after you have purchased a rental or shuttle ticket.

The trip could take up to 3 hours to complete. We will be keeping track of water levels throughout that week. We highly encourage to bring towels, plenty of water a light snack. All rentals will have pipe jackets provided along with paddles. Dry boxes will be available to rent through the ticket tailor link. All paddlers bringing there own kayak is highly encouraged to provide their own life jackets.

Age requirements: All ages are able to attend. We do however do not encourage newborns or very small infants to attend due to the potential danger of their well being.

Trained guides will be available if you are a beginner and/or would want to learn.

After the trip, Paddle On will provide a shuttle back to Siems Memorial Park.

Checkers is a local favorite in Union Illinois where all who attend are encouraged to visit after the trip for lunch and a refreshing drink.
